Just a few final points. As we are situated on the West Coast of Scotland this means that we have a high rainfall. We consider May & June to be the best months to visit.

Driving in the Highlands - Most of the roads up here are unfenced & single laned so be prepared to meet sheep or deer on the roads as well as tourists leaping out of their cars to take pictures. Single track roads have "passing places", use the one on the left side of the road - KEEP LEFT !!

Fuel Prices - Our experience when we go "South Of The Wall" is that fuel prices in our area are much the same as in many areas of England & Wales.
In Scotland, as anywhere, town & city locations offer the cheapest deals.

Midges - these can cause problems but a few simple precautions can make a big difference. We recommend you camp where there is a wind & don't expose huge amounts of flesh. Ask us for advise.
